All About Me
I am a guitarist and guitar teacher who has been teaching privately since 2013 and began teaching peripatetic lesson's in primary schools in 2017.
I first picked up the guitar at the age of 7 and have since then gained a wide variety of music performing and teaching experience. I play and teach electric, classical and acoustic guitar and have an extensive knowledge of other musical instruments such as bass guitar, ukulele and drum kit.
I studied GCSE Music then went on to study AS and A level Music. I have passed the ABRSM Grade 5 Music Theory exam and the Rockschool Grade 8 Electric Guitar exam.
I have also played as part of a band and as soloist on acoustic and electric guitar.
I have an Enhanced DBS Certificate.
I have Public Liability Insurance.
I am a Member of the Musicians Union.
The Lessons
Whatever type of guitar or genre you want to learn, I can help you to play your favourite songs, understand music theory and apply that to your playing and I can also help you to progress through the ABRSM and RSL exams

Classical Guitar
Learn to play Classical guitar. I teach the ABRSM and RSL Awards guitar syllabus for those wanting to do exams. Great for young beginners as the strings are kinder to the fingers and is an important foundation for understanding music as a whole.
Electric Guitar
Learn your favourite riffs or work through the Rockschool (RSL) graded exams. I'll show you how to use your guitar, amp and effects to their full potential as well as helping you getting to grips with essential playing techniques.
Acoustic Guitar
A very versatile instrument, you can play all sorts of styles on an acoustic guitar. From the likes of Ed Sheeran to Eric Clapton, the acoustic guitar is infamous, and I can help you get your head around tricky chords and also progress through the Rockschool acoustic syllabus.
Other Instruments
